‘In the Flesh’ will return to BBC Three for an extended Series 2 next year - ‘In the Flesh’: Series 2 will air in 2014
BBC Three controller Zai Bennett added: “In The Flesh was a fantastically original and engaging drama for BBC Three. I’m delighted Dominic and the team will be able to tell more stories from the riveting characters and engaging world they created.”
Ratings for In The Flesh:
BBC Three’s new zombie series In The Flesh launched with 668k (3.7%) at 10pmBBC Three’s zombie series In The Flesh has failed to secure the ratings of the channel’s former hit Being Human, only attracting 392k (1.98%) at 10pm.BBC Three’s zombie drama In The Flesh ended with 525k (2.85) at 10pm.
While the ratings for The Fades were 867,000 for the first ep, 575,000 for the second ep and 582,000 for the third one.
Yet, somehow The Fades is the series that it didn’t engage and In The Flesh is the one that did (and I’m not even mentioning the 1.000.000 awards and, you know, THE BAFTA FOR BEST DRAMA SERIES, the Fades won).
At least, I think I’ve got it now…FUCK QUALITY. AND APPARENTLY RATINGSZAI BENNETT LIKES THEM CHEAP!!!
Meanwhile, everyone from The Fades cast and crew has moved on to bigger things..Jack Thorne has ANOTHER new project he’s working on (War Book)
Ian will co-star in Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut ( while filming JW’s S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Kaluuya is gonna be in Kick-Ass 2.
And we all know what Lily’s doing.
